My pink sparrow

This is my little bundle of joy. 12 days old. My baby who murmurs like a kitten, has the softest skin and smiles with her eyes when looking at me. I'm still on the other planet on the 'babymoon', slowly getting back to normal life. Wish it would last longer... Strangely enough I felt hesitant even to photograph her, then regretting it. She already changed so much since she was born. I have to remind myself, I can't miss even one day without having a memory of the way she is. Looking at this I can even smell her, my little pink sparrow ♥

Winter stuff

I'm from the North, east side of the Baltic Sea where we were used to having all four seasons and one that I miss the most when in Lugano is freezing cold winters.

What is a real winter? It's around the time when Santa Claus brings you a wooden train set you've dreamed about and befana brings you lots of sweets, because you've been such a good boy. It's when everything stops when you watch the snow storm from your kitchen window. And when you take your mum out for a walk in the snow. This is winter, my friends...

Christmas cookies and my little monster in the kitchen

I realised I've never posted anything personal on this blog, so in addition to it being empty it's also impersonal. Ok, let's change that.

The issue is, being so taken over with family sessions, setting up a wedding photography business with my friend, sorting out marketing and other so very important business elements, I totally abandoned taking photos of my family. It took me a while to realize it. And so we took some butter, sugar, flour and eggs to make Christmas cookies to bring to nonna when we go to Rome for holidays (yes, I am THAT lucky). So Lukas was busy cooking and I was busy capturing it all. Oh, that was a busy day.
